Careers in Ornithology
2007 Workshop
The “Careers in Ornithology Workshop”, held by the Student Affairs Committee at the 2007 annual meeting of the AOU, was a raging success! Five professionals from an exciting array of ornithological careers joined students of the AOU to discuss the diversity of career opportunities in the field of ornithology. Students learned what types of jobs are out there, how best to pursue those jobs, and what to expect from the various agencies after getting a job. The following is a list of material provided to supplement the information taken from the workshop.
