Instructions for ScholarOne

ScholarOne Manuscripts ™ is the web-based online manuscript submission and peer-review system of The Auk. Authors and reviewers can access information, set up accounts, and submit manuscripts or reviews by logging on to ScholarOne.

Authors and reviewers will be asked to register the first time they enter the site. After receiving a password, they can enter either the Author Center or Reviewer Center. If you already have an account with ScholarOne, you will have access to both centers.

If you cannot remember your password, there is a Password Help section directly below the Log in where you can enter your e-mail address and we will send you your account information.

(Please note that we will not e-mail you your password. The e-mail message will have a link that will direct you to a page where you will create a new password.)

System requirements

ScholarOne recommends the use of the following browsers: the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox. And it requires the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 5.0 or later), popup windows allowed, and Javascript enabled.

Information and Help

NOTE: Within ScholarOne, only fields with the tag " req" are required.

Help is available in the top right corner of all ScholarOne pages (Get Help Now).

ScholarOne also has a number of online guides that will take authors and reviewers through the system step-by-step. You will need Adobe Acrobat to view these files.

The Review Manager () is also available to help.
