The Auk

Instructions for Rapid Review

Rapid Review® is the web-based online manuscript submission and peer-review system of The Auk. It requires the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or later, JavaScript, per-session cookies and popup windows.

Authors and reviewers can access information, set up accounts, and/or submit manuscripts or reviews by logging on to https://www.rapidreview.com and entering the author or reviewer portal of the American Ornithologists' Union .

If you already have a reviewer account and would like to set up an author account, please scroll down the directions on the "Create Author Account" page and use the "I already have a reviewer account ." link.

If you cannot remember your password, there is a "Can't remember your password?" link on both the author and reviewer logon pages.

Information and Help

NOTE: Within Rapid Review, only fields with an asterisk are required.

Links to "Rapid Review Support" are found in the top left of the Rapid Review page and the left side of both the author and reviewer logon pages. As well, after logging on to either an author or reviewer account, there is a "Help" button at the top right of the page.

The Review Manager () is also available to help.
